Terms of Service

By accepting training services (referred to as the “Services” in these terms and conditions) from Blue Paw Companies, LLC and its trainers (referred to as the “Company”), you (referred to as “You” or the “Client”) are agreeing to these terms and conditions. If You do not agree to these terms and conditions, please do not schedule an appointment with the Company.

BEHAVIOR QUESTIONNAIRE: The Company will provide the Client a behavior questionnaire at the time of booking the appointment. The Client will complete the questionnaire no later than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment. This is required for safety reasons. Failure to complete the questionnaire will result in the appointment being cancelled without a refund.

CANCELLATION POLICY: The Client may cancel an appointment by email prior to 48 hours before the scheduled appointment time and receive a full refund. Appointments cancelled within 48 hours of the scheduled time are non-refundable. The Client may request to reschedule an appointment. However, requests to reschedule an appointment within 48 hours of the originally scheduled appointment time will be considered a cancellation and is not refundable.

NO WARRANTY: Dog training and behavior modification involves participation by both the Client and the dog. Environmental variables can affect the training and behavior modification process as well. Due to the inherent uncertainty of working with animals, there can be no warranty or guaranty that the Services will result in any particular outcome or result with respect to your dog’s behavior. THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS,” WITH ALL FAULTS, AND THE ENTIRE RISK AS TO THE SATISFACTORY QUALITY, PERFORMANCE, ACCURACY, AND EFFORT OF SUCH SERVICES SHALL BE WITH THE CLIENT. THE COMPANY DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL OTHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED REPRESENTATIONS AND WARRANTIES WITH RESPECT TO THE SERVICES PROVIDED HEREUNDER, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

ASSUMPTION OF THE RISK: Owning and handling a dog comes with inherent risks. The Company is in no way responsible for the behavior of the Client’s dog(s) during or after the Services. The Client assumes sole responsibility for the behavior of their dog(s) and releases, indemnifies and holds Blue Paw Companies LLC, and its employees and members, and any independent contractors providing Services (collectively, the “Indemnities”) harmless from and against any and all claims, demands, suits, judgments, liabilities, damages, losses, costs and reasonable attorney fees (together, “Claims”), including, without limitation, property damage or personal injury, which may arise as a result of the Services, except to the extent such Claims arise from the sole negligence of the Indemnities. Without limiting the foregoing, this indemnity shall include any claims arising from COVID-19.

COVID 19: The Company endeavors to follow all local and state requirements regarding the coronavirus pandemic to reduce the spread of COVID-19. However, Client acknowledges that the Company cannot guarantee that anyone present during the Services will not become exposed to, or infected with, COVID-19. Client recognizes there are certain inherent risks associated with providing Services in-person at the Client’s home regarding COVID-19, acknowledge the contagious nature of COVID-19 even to vaccinated individuals, and understand the CDC and public health authorities recommend the wearing of masks covering the face and nose. Accordingly, Client assumes full responsibility for personal injury related to COVID-19.

The Client agrees to observe and obey all written warnings regarding COVID-19, and further agree to follow any oral instructions or directions given by the Company with respect to COVID-19 protocols to be observed during training sessions.

PHOTO AND VIDEOS: The Trainer may take photos, videos, screenshots of online sessions or record video from online sessions. These are for The Client’s review. They may also be viewed by other trainers for educational purposes. The Company will not share these images on social media without further written permission from The Client.
